Kashi Ayurveda
A Marrow-inspired learning platform built exclusively for Ayurvedic post-graduate students — featuring a quiz engine, question bank, custom study modules, and competitive peer challenges on native Android.
View LiveThe Challenge
Ayurvedic post-graduate students in India had no dedicated digital platform to prepare for their MD/MS entrance exams. Platforms like Marrow had transformed how allopathic doctors studied — but Ayurveda students were left with scattered PDFs, WhatsApp groups, and outdated textbooks. Kashi Ayurveda set out to close that gap.
What We Built
Flexonixs designed and engineered the complete technology stack for Kashi Ayurveda — a full-featured ed-tech platform purpose-built for Ayurvedic PG aspirants. The product spans a native Android application for students and a Laravel-powered admin portal for content managers and instructors.
Core Features
- Quiz Engine — Time-bound quizzes with instant scoring, detailed explanations, and subject-wise breakdowns tailored to the Ayurvedic curriculum.
- Question Bank — A curated, taggable repository of PG-level questions organised by subject, topic, and difficulty level.
- Custom Study Modules — Students can build personalised modules from any combination of topics and solve them at their own pace.
- Peer Challenges — Competitive mode lets students challenge batchmates head-to-head on specific modules, driving engagement through friendly rivalry.
- Progress Tracking — Per-subject performance dashboards help students identify weak areas and measure improvement over time.
- Admin Portal — A full-featured Laravel backend for content creation, user management, question uploads, and platform analytics.
Technology
The backend and admin portal were built on PHP with the Laravel framework, providing a robust REST API consumed by the Android client. The native Android app was engineered for performance and reliable usability — essential for students preparing in areas with inconsistent connectivity.
Outcome
Kashi Ayurveda launched on the Google Play Store and was successfully delivered to the client's team. The platform gave Ayurvedic students their first structured, Marrow-equivalent learning experience — purpose-built for their syllabus, competitive, and built to scale.
